Barcelona attacker Dani Olmo is expected to be out for some time after picking up an injury from Barcelona’s 3-0 over Osasuna last night.
Dani Olmo started the game and scored a retaken penalty for Barcelona in the 21st minute of the game. The 26-year-old was forced off the pitch in the 28th minute after going down and was unable to continue.
Barcelona today confirmed in a club statement that Olmo has suffered a myofascial injury to the adductor of his right leg.
The club statement read: “Tests conducted on Friday morning have shown that Dani Olmo has suffered a myofascial injury to the adductor of his right leg. The recovery time will be approximately three weeks.”
Barcelona will be without Dani Olmo for a few games including UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal games against Borussia Dortmund.
