Joshua Kimmich Signs New Long Term Deal At Bayern Munich

German Midfielder, Joshua Kimmich will remain at the Allianz Arena for more years to come after signing a contract extension with the club today.

The versatile 30-year-old who can play as a right-back, defensive midfielder or an attacking midfielder has played a key role at the club since joining from RB Leipzig in 2015.

Kimmich has made a total of 429 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich, scoring 43 times and providing 115 assists.

He has also won 20 trophies with Bayern Munich, including one UEFA Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup, eight Bundesliga titles, three DFB Cups, six German Supercups and one UEFA Super Cup.

Bayern Munich announced today that Kimmich has signed a new contract, extending his stay at the club until June 2029.

“At FC Bayern I have the best environment to achieve my sporting goals. That is what my decision was based on. For me at the moment, there is no better package of team-mates, coaching staff and club environment in order to achieve maximum success. I feel at home here and I am not finished yet.” Joshua Kimmich said after putting pen to paper this afternoon.
