Manchester United are reportedly plotting a move for a teenage sensation who is being compared to Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
Oghenetejiri Adejenughure has become a prolific scorer in youth football in Austria, earning him interests from top clubs across Europe including Manchester United.
The 18-year-old currently plays for Austrian second division side, FC Liefering which is a reserve team for RB Salzburg. Adejenughure has represented RB Salzburg in the U19 UEFA Youth Champions League.
The Daily Star reports that the teenager was recently called up to train with Ralf Ragick’s Austrian National team. The report also stated that Manchester United have sent scouts to monitor Adejenughure this season.
Manchester United are expected to face competition from AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and other top clubs in Europe for Adejenughure’s signature.
