Jonathan David Hints At Summer Move Amid Chelsea & Man Utd Interest

Canadian international striker Jonathan David, who is currently being targeted by big clubs around Europe has hinted on a possible summer move decision.

Jonathan David who is currently into the last six months of his contract at Lille is expected to leave the club this summer as a free agent.

The 25-year-old who has scored 107 goals in 224 games in all competitions for Lille since joining the club in 2020 has been heavily linked with a move to European sides, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Barcelona.

David speaking to Golazo America on Sunday after Canada’s 2-1 win against the United States, he said: “Obviously, with this summer going on, I am not sure if I am staying or going. But if I do end up going, I have to push myself at the very highest level.”

It’s currently hard to say which club or league Jonathan David will be playing the next season at, but a move to the Premier League seems likely and a move to his childhood fan club, Barcelona also looking possible.
